"For whatever reason, it's not considered "cool" to be a Bryan Adams fan. The man is respected amongst his peers, not only as a performer (if you ever get the chance to see him live, GO!) but also as a songwriter. Most people secretly love a couple of his songs, but not many people ever declare him to be their fave artist. Well, I've been an unashamed groupie since I was in high school, so sue me! :-p

The CD in the photo is his new release, "11", so called because it's his 11th studio album.

What most people probably wouldn't know about BA is that he's actually quite a well renowned portrait photographer these days. He's published a couple of books, currently has an exhibit at The National Portrait Gallery in London, is an offical photographer for the Hear The World organisation, has shot ad campaigns like this current one for Guess?, and was once invited to photograph a portrait of The Queen. If the previous links weren't enough, he's also got a bit of a portfolio on his website including the likes of Amy Winehouse, Helena Bonham-Carter and Elle Macpherson, (who he's currently rumoured to be dating). He also takes all the photos for his own CD sleeves these days, including that one on the cover of "11". "
