mapa das estrelas de Nebra
A man examining the back of the so-called 'Starmap of Nebra' at the state museum for prehistory in Halle, Germany. The map was discovered in July 1999 and has been considered the oldest, tangible starmap in the history of man. An argument about the authenticity of the map has errupted in connection with the current trial of a 46-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man who are charged with the handling of stolen goods. The decisive date in this argument is on Monday, 21 February 2005 when experts, supporters and critics of the starmaps authenticity, will argue their case in court. Foto: EPA/PETER ENDIG
